Parade Info

Just a reminder that our Rosemead Fourth of July Parade is a "Go."  It's going to start at 10am on the Fourth of July at Walnut Grove and Valley.  It'll then head east, cross Rosemead, then turn left on Loma, cross Mission, and end at Rosemead Park.

The theme for this year's parade is "Salute to Our Military."

The city is looking for area veterans and active duty personnel to join in the parade.  If you're interested or know someone who might be interested, call Pedro Castillo of Rosemead Parks & Rec, at 626-569-2266.

Parade Info

The parade is coming together nicely.  Lots of folks are working hard to make this happen, and they all deserve a hand.

I also wanted to to make a quick comment on the wristbands--I don't recall if they're on sale at all the rec centers or just Rosemead City Hall.  But for ten dollars (advanced sale), you get unlimited rides on the carnival rides.  You also get a free Rosemead Fourth of July t-shirt.

And, as another reminder, there'll be no fence and no charge to enter Rosemead Park on the Fourth of July. The fireworks show is free, and anyone can come on by and take a look at the various vendor booths at the park.
