Republican Party continues self-destructing!

The Los Angeles Times is reporting the long-time Republican U.S. Senator Arlen Spector is leaving the Republican Party to join the D's. That gives the D's 59 seats, plus the probably pick-up of the Minnesota seat by Franken.

Nationally, as in CA, the Republican Party is chasing out moderates in a search for ideological purity. What they will eventually discover is that this is a recipe for making your party irrelevant.

Rosemead Interim City Manager

Saturday.May 9. there is a Special City Council Meeting to hire another interim City Manager. I am sure, the 85 yr old, just fired City Manager from Temple City is available and would be a perfect fit with the Rosemead City Council.
