Rosemead Results

No surprises in Rosemead. Polly Low was easily reelected. She polled the most votes in every precinct.

Bill Alarcon finished second, well ahead of Alejandro Gandara.

Party Endorsements -- Monterey Park

For Monterey Park's March 8 election, the L.A. County Democratic Party has endorsed Bob Gin, Hans Liang, and Anthony Wong. The County GOP has endorsed Joe Avila and Walter Sarnoi.

Sarnoi appears to be a boxer of some renown.

Party Endorsements -- San Gabriel, and the "Other" Chin Ho

The L.A. County Republican Party made no endorsements in the San Gabriel City Council election. The County Democratic Party endorsed only Phillip Hu. Judging by yard signs, it would be a real upset if Hu won.

Free IHOP Pancakes on Tuesday, March 1

The local paper tipped me off to free IHOP pancakes tomorrow. Of course, IHOP will probably be pretty packed tomorrow, so it's a trade off between saving a few bucks (after all, two pancakes at Denny's are just $2!) in exchange for a possibly long wait. But if you have more time than money. . . .
