Journalist seeks former organizers from Save Our Community

Hello,

My name is Emily and I am a writer for Hyphen Magazine (http://www.hyphenmagazine.com), a California-based Asian American independent magazine. We are covering a story on the proposed WalMart neighborhood market in LA Chinatown, and we are hoping to take a unique angle on it. To that end, we are comparing the current experience of organizers in Chinatown with the WalMart superstore built in Rosemead.

Are there any former organizers on here who could speak to your experiencing opposing the WalMart in 2004/5/6? Or anyone available to shed some light on the community/local business impact following the establishment of the WalMart? Please message me if you are open to an interview.
