Building on their "Lights Out, San Francisco" and "Lights Out, L.A." campaigns, next March 29th will be "Lights Out, America."  http://lightsoutamerica.org/

This is just an early heads up.  But you don't have to wait until next March to use public transit, start using compact florescent lightbulbs, and the like!
