A familiar name was in the news today: Mike Lewis (the checkbook behind Rosemead PRIDE, Rosemead Partners, etc., etc) got busted for doing in South El Monte exactly what he did in Rosemead: Sending out political mailers that falsely identified who was paying for them. Maybe the FPPC will finally get around to prosecuting him over the Rosemead mailers. . . ?
