I guess if you're termed out and unopposed in your election, you get to spend your money on things that will help raise your visibility for a possible future run for office. Supervisor Gloria Molina just sent me (and probably everyone else in the district) a reusable shopping bag.

Former Temple City councilwoman Judy Wong plead "no contest" in LA Superior Court today to ten counts of of bribery and perjury, SGV Tribune reported today.

Although former mayor Cathe Wilson was also supposed to be in court today, the Tribune did not report on the disposition of the charges against her.

A Happy Ending--Sort of

Everyone assumed the worst when a young woman allegedly went jogging over the weekend, then never came home. I was relieved, but perplexed by what I learned tonight.
