The runoff is next Tuesday (July 14). Judy has already sent out "join the celebration" post cards to her supporters.

It's been a very quiet campaign. I think I've gotten about two mailers each from the two Chus. It's not like during the primary, where our house was getting buried in mailers and bombarded by phone calls.

Things get quiet around here every now and then. Sometimes nothing interesting is happening. Sometimes no one has time to post. We'll sometimes go a week without new posts. But the Foothill Cities blog has gone a month without a new post. Too bad about that.

On tomorrow's episode of "The Lazy Environmentalist," there's a show about a former small town mayor who's trying to make a big eco difference. :D

Thank goodness for streaming video. Now people can keep tabs on those rascals in city hall on OUR schedule, rather than THEIR schedule.

This is from two meetings ago. She says she doesn't think people should be allowed to blog anonymously. Darn, that pesky First Amendment!
