At least that’s the impression I came away with upon reading that both leading candidates for the 25th State Senate District have legal residences in the district, but actual homes outside of the district.

One of the contenders is former state Lieutenant Governor Mervyn Dymally, who has been a fixture in California politics since before I was born. The other is Roderick Wright, who seems to have the support of actor Morgan Freedman.
