Stupid Pointless Blather

Apparently, like many smaller businesses in the world today, local gangs have also been taken over by out of town bosses. In the case of Rosemead’s Lomas, they are run out of prisons by bosses using high-tech communication devices. So says the L.A. Times, in a recent article.

The Tribune’s Frank Girardot wrote about a crackdown on the "Mexican Mafia" a few weeks ago.

I always used to wonder what hills Lomas was supposed to be based in. The hills above Wal-Mart doesn’t seem like very fertile ground for gangs. And neither they nor the hills south of Graves are in Rosemead.
