Save Our Community was founded in the movement to resist Wal-Mart's development in Rosemead, California. Now, it has become a general site for news, information, gossip, talk, and blogging about Rosemead. We also have stories about South San Gabriel, San Gabriel, Montebello, and occasionally about Pico Rivera, El Monte, South El Monte, Alhambra, Temple City, and other nearby communities. Your host is Todd. If you want a blog just sign up, get approved, and start writing. Good posts will be moved onto the home page.

I didn't know they shot "The Wonder Years" at Rosemead High School. Unfortunately, the implication of that is that they thought Rosemead High School in 1988 looked like a school out of the 1960s.
The picture on the webpage is a few years old, because that McDonald's turned into "China Bistro" about a year ago. For a year before that, it was abandoned, after McDonald's moved down to the corner of Valley and Walnut Grove.
Overall, an interesting article. But I wonder if the author is related to the young lady that falsely claimed I/we called her "stupid"?

She forgot a few things. Sea Harbour. Bahooka. Spike's bar (aka, "nightlife" LOL). My Dung. Golden Bull Noodle's Hainam Chicken. Fogata Mexicana. Manna. Jade's lunch special. Taco Ready. Sea World. 888.
No need for fast food.

My Dung? That does *not* sound very appetizing! :D
But, yes, I also thought that the restaurant list was a little thin. How could anyone leave Bahooka's off any list of Rosemead "attractions"?
