Garvey School Board Says "No" to Wal-Mart

The Garvey School Board voted to approve a resolution opposing Wal-Mart at that site. The vote was four in favor, with one abstention. The resolution mentioned the issues of traffic, labor practices, liquor sales, and 24 hour operation.

A press conference is scheduled at Friday 19th at 9:00 a.m. at Rice Elementary School.
