Gardening in Long Beach

Long Beach Grows is a political site advocating for the right of residents to have mini-farms on their properties, and also to establish community gardens.

It's interesting, because I see people with food out in the front yards. I think it's a Vietnamese thing, but, I've seen all kinds of people growing fruit in front, and some chiles, cactus, etc. Some people even have chickens.

The author of LBG has two goats as well as several chickens. So they got a complaint, because the city law allows one goat.

Anyway, it's an interesting site and situation.
