Nice story in the L.A. Times about the Japanese garden in Van Nuys, adjacent to the Tillman water reclamation plant.

The reclamation plant and office building has a really futurisitic look to it:

Water attracts bird life, including this grey heron. I suppose he's probably eating the koi, isn't he?
