Valley Vision Plan meeting this Wednesday, March 5th!

The only places I've noticed this mentioned so far are in the Planning Commission's March 3rd agenda, and the City Website (scroll down), but I just wanted to let everyone know that a community meeting regarding the Valley Vision Plan is scheduled for this Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  This is somewhat different from the previous General Plan and Mixed-Use Guidelines meetings in that it focuses more specifically on the desired "look" of Valley Blvd in years to come.  If past presentations are anything to go by, it deals mainly with renovating the look of the City Hall area, and the areas immediately east and west of it.  I've seen some very nice ideas previously, and hopefully this community meeting means they've dealt a few of the more problematic elements - including property-line/territorial issues with the county library next door - and are getting closer to a final version.  City Planner Matt Everling will be hosting it, and I recommend everyone try to make it to this meeting to see what city staff has planned and give some feedback.
