As an amateur astronomer, I'm happy to see folks are finding waking up to the fact that too much urban lighting is bad thing.

It still bothers me that they let Wal-Mart get away with "full cut-off lighting" in the parking lot that is not full cut-off. It doesn't bother me that they're wasting their own money to pay for lighting they're not using, but it does bother me that they're messing up my sky.
