Bell Recall

The Los Angeles Times reports Bell residents have taken "the first step" toward recalling the four city councilmembers who are pulling down six-figure salaries.

I don't even remember any more whether the first step was to present it to the city clerk or to present the targets with a notice of intent.

Under current law, they are, at least, spared the ridiculous cost and uncertainty of having to pay for a multi-lingual translation of the recall petition.

A good attorney?

The story says they have an attorney doing pro bono aid to the recall group. I hope he's a good lawyer, because there are so many places along the way you can get tripped up.
