The San Gabriel Valley Journal (on-line) headline reads, "Taylor New Rosemead Mayor, Lo is Pro Tem." The story reports that Gary Taylor was elected as Rosemead's new mayor, while Polly Lo was elected mayor pro tem.

I hate to be a nitpicker, but it should be "Low," not "Lo." And she wasn't elected Pro Tem. Details, details.

Summary: The people who are always talking about "healing" and "working together" and "putting this behind us" showed once again that what they are really interested in is vindictiveness and pettiness and hoarding every ounce of real or symbolic power in their own greasy little palms.
